We are interested in filling positions in the following areas:
Outside Sales Representative - Arbor Vitae, WI
This position is the main contact for assigned contractors of Pukall Lumber Company and works on their behalf to meet identified needs and to facilitate completion of building projects.
Requires strong knowledge of construction practices, blueprints, building materials and building specifications to prepare and/or review material take-offs and develop building material quotes. Additional job duties include placing orders for material with suppliers and monitoring receipt of materials, and scheduling delivery to contractor job sites. These duties are performed both individually and with support staff.
Strong computer skills related to integrated point of sale system is preferred. Compensation includes a base salary with commission on sales. Benefits include health & dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k), vacation & paid holidays.
Weekend Boiler Operator
Mechanical skills necessary, previous boiler experience preferred but not required. 12-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Observe pressure, temperature and meters on panel to verify specified operation of boiler control systems. Adjust controls to set specifications, observe boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions. Operate fuel silo to keep fuel level maintained. Maintain logs of meter and gauge readings and record data.
Duties include some clean-up & sweeping in manufacturing plant. Salary $12-$18/hr, based on experience.
